You are certainly familiar with this term. But have you ever wondered or wondered what it even means? A symphony is actually a musical work. It is the most widespread work in the field of classical music. It is actually an instrumental composition that is divided into several parts. It is suitable for playing by an orchestra. Some people consider it the pinnacle of musical expression. It is associated with something grand, with the expression of emotions and with complex compositional art. We can trace its beginnings back to the late Baroque period, when it gradually took shape as an independent musical genre. In the 18th century, the first larger orchestral compositions were created. These gradually grew into an independent format, which is called a symphony.The Italian composer Giovanni Battista Sammartini is considered the pioneer of this genre. But many other composers also contributed to the fact that the symphony is a well-known and recognized genre today. For example, Ludwig van Beethoven or Anton\u00edn Dvo\u0159\u00e1k. These are composers who influenced entire generations of music. A symphony has a set structure that should be followed. At least for typical symphonies.
